Ashtead Park Garden Centre – Festive Family Fun

Santa returns to Ashtead Park Garden Centre (Pleasure Pit Road, KT21 1HU) on the 2nd, 3rd, and 9th of December, where he awaits in his delightful Christmas Pudding Grotto! Your child can meet Santa in his Christmas Pudding Igloo (!), where they’ll get a gift as well as having a quick chat with Santa, letting him know what they want this Xmas. Charity donations are being taken for the Royal Marsden. Sunday Comedy Night at Epsom Social

Are you in need of a bit of a chuckle? And a break from mince pies and Xmas shopping? You could head down to @epsomsocial this Sunday December 3rd for their comedy night, starting at 7 pm. Prepare for an evening filled with laughter as talented comedians take the stage. 

West Ashtead Primary School Christmas Fair

West Ashtead Primary School Christmas Fair is on Sunday, December 3rd from 11:30 am to 2:30 pm for a day packed with festive activities. You can meet Father Christmas in his grotto (You need to buy tickets ahead of the day, which costs £4 per child). There’s Elfridge’s Secret Present Room where kids can purchase and wrap gifts for parents. 10 local businesses have their own stalls, while there are plenty of other things to buy such as food, hot drinks mulled wine and then games to play and face painting. Santa’s Christmas Wish 2023 at Epsom Playhouse

Santa’s Christmas Wish is a delightful, song-filled, interactive family show perfect for 2-8 year olds. Running from Sunday, December 3rd to Sunday, December 24th at the Epsom Playhouse, the 45-minute show is followed by a special meet, greet, and treat with Father Christmas himself. Ashtead Park Garden Centre – Cookies with Santa

Cookies With Santa at Ashtead Garden Centre is at 3:45 pm on the 4th, 11th, and 18th of December. Meet Santa at The Olive Tree Restaurant for a magical story, a chat, and perhaps a sing-along. Your child’s ticket includes a hot chocolate, a cookie, and a special gift! It’s £12 per child and £5 per adult ( which includes a tea, coffee, or hot chocolate). Neil Sands Presents Christmas Memories at the Epsom Playhouse

Neil Sands and his amazing cast return to the Epsom Playhouse for a heartwarming and sparkling afternoon of festive nostalgia with the new 2023 production of their smash hit Christmas show on Monday, December 4th at 2:30 pm. Ashtead Village Late Night Opening 

Christmas is such a magical time of year with no shortage of things to do in the Ashtead area

Support your local businesses by going shopping down Ashtead High Street this Xmas. With free parking from 3pm, shops will be open until 20.00. Santa will be in attendance, with lots of special offers in shops, in addition to a raffle, ride on teacups, crafts, mulled wine and mince pies being put on in spades. Shops like @wordonthestreet, @bumbles and @damseldesignerdressagency will love to see you! Once you are done, you could head to see the @ashteadyouthchoir  Christmas Concert takes place @sgsgashtead on Tuesday, December 5th starting at 6:15 pm. This event is free to attend.

Candlelit Christmas Concert at Christ Church Epsom

Experience an evening of enchanting music @epsomchristchurch on Friday, December 8th starting at 7 pm. Enjoy solo singers, local bands, Laine Theatre Arts Choir, and the Heart & Soul Community Choir. Ashtead Library is hosting various events for kids during the holidays starting on Saturday, December 9th. Some events are free, while others cost up to £3. Barnett Wood Infants School Fair

Barnett Wood Infants Christmas market, Sunday 10th December. 11.00 to 14.00. Lots of market sales, an art competition, tombola, mulled wine and mince pies, face painting, candy floss and a raffle where you can win up to £150 cash. 

Market in the Mansion

A new Christmas market this year inside the stunning Nonsuch Mansion on Sunday, December 10th from 10 am to 4 pm. With over 20 stalls, there’s loads to see, all offering  festive gifts and crafts in a stunning indoor setting glittered with twinkling lights and mistletoe. Short Stories Tall Tales – The Night Before Christmas @ The Horton

On Wednesday, December 13th at 11:30 am & 1:30 pm, experience a live, sensory first theatre experience @thehortonepsom with Short Stories Tall Tales. Immerse your little ones' imaginations through live performance, interactive role-play, props, music, and creative drama. An exciting adventure into stories and exploration through the senses. Witness the showdown between Winter and Spring in a fantastic 50-minute production suitable for children aged 3+ and their families.
