What we like about them

It is hard to miss Milners when you walk or drive through Ashtead Village. The carpet and flooring company started 30 years ago and has since expanded into selling furniture and homewares.  Over the road from the main shop is their soft furnishings department where you can have curtains, upholstery, blinds and cushions beautifully made to order.

Back in the flooring store, you will always find something you love to re floor your home. In fact, you’ll be amazed by the amount of choice available. That being said, the team have curated the selection - ensuring there is a wide range of options available to meet any customer need, but not so much that you are truly overwhelmed by what’s on offer. Plus, the team really know their stuff. If you are looking for a wood floor, Amtico, Karndean, luxury vinyl tiles or carpet, they’ll be able to find the right choice for you, within your budget. 

What we loved especially was the end-to-end customer service that Milners provides. To start the process, you go into Milners to pick out some samples that would work in your space, with help from one of the staff. Once you have your samples picked, Milners can then measure your floors to provide you with a quote. Once you’ve confirmed your purchase, Milners will then arrange for your carpets to be fitted by their skilled team of fitters, and also take away any of your previous flooring. In house,  your quote will be detailed so you can see how your final bill breaks down, and they will price match any other retailer in a 10 mile radius for your peace of mind. 

We were really impressed with the knowledge of all the staff, but also their friendliness. Everyone in Milners is approachable, and no question is too big or too small for them. A large amount of their customers return to them again and again, which is a testament to the team’s work ethic.
