What we like about them

Bumbles, based in the big Milners shop on Ashtead High Street, is one of those hidden secrets for many of those living in Ashtead. It’s a fantastic gift shop that’s the perfect place to head for anyone in your life that is tough to buy for. There are so many trinkets, bits and bobs and home accessories on offer that you’re always bound to find something that answers your needs. 

It’s also our go to place for birthday cards thanks to the wide selection on offer - and thankfully a large portion of them are hilarious too. We rarely leave with just the one card, but instead stockpile the ones that we couldn’t leave behind. 

We  head there for kids’ birthdays, presents for newborns and new parents, gifts for mums and dads on Mother’s day or Father’s day, as well as housewarming gifts for new homeowners. It’s hard to come home without something for ourselves too in the process! That’s being made increasingly more difficult, given that Bumbles has upped the number of clothing lines it sells. For any woman living in Ashtead, Bumbles is a great destination for buying summer dresses or scarves - not something that is immediately apparent when walking past the Milners store front. 

All items are pretty good value too. It’s not one of those gift shops that charges the earth for a paperweight. Instead, it simply offers good quality products at affordable prices. It’s not cheap, but products won’t clear out your wallet either. 

Finally, Bumbles sells inflated balloons. If you’ve got a big party coming up, you can buy a whole load here full of helium to decorate your home. They also offer number balloons too.
